Devin
"Xtra Tuf" Reiter was born in Minnesota back in
the day. When he arrived into this world he started up peeing
on the doctor within 30 seconds. When Devin turned the age
of 10 he was riding high on a shanty style fort that he
and his friends had built when things went terribly wrong
and he broke his arm due to a fall, after that Devin desided
that roofing wasn't for him and that he would persue other
forms of work in the future. Devin Reiter went to Brown
College in Medota Hieghts Minnesota to get into the field
that would allow for his increadibly good looks to go noticed…
so when he arrived in the TV 101 class he was quickly asked
to go the radio department and re evaluate his career plan…
well things couldn't have worked out better because he is
now in Sitka and loving it!
Devin can be heard on the air from 6-9am. With highly entertaining
contests news and trivia Devin will make sure you get up
on the right side of the bed every day. As for the story
behind "Xtra Tuf" well you will just have to call him and
ask for your self. (907) 747-Rock 6-9am weekdays.

Jonny
Rock Fish
My
home town was Beaverton Oregon form 1965 to 1984
and in 1984 I came to Sitka to attend Sheldon Jackson
college were I graduated with my AA and BA and were
I met my lovely wife of 14 years. Left Sitka in
1994 for 8 long, long years and came back to Sitka
in 2003 with my wife and three great kids. I really
have four kids, some thing happened when we came
back to Sitka I think it was the water. (Conner,
Emmie, Abbie, Cody)
I have worked all over South East Alaska with the
US Forest Service form 1988 - 1994 when logging
was big here and the funniest thing about working
with loggers and having the last name of Fish is
they don't for get it. So for years when I would
walk around in a different town and when I would
pass by bars or go to the air ports, even Sea Tac,
I would hear FISH! FISH! Being yelled out of these
establishments And I would have no idea who these
guys were but they were more then willing to buy
be a beer or two or three or four well you get the
point. Thje question has been raised as how I got
into radio after all that and the story goes that
the station manager found out that I had carpentry
skills so one night we pulled the staff together,
framed and sheet rocked the new FM studio now know
as THE ROCK. So that is how I got into radio, I
was able drive a nail in strait, and Jonny Rockfish
was born. THE END
